. Geothermal is Very Safe! No Gas .
. We don't dislike Natural gas, Propane, or Fuel oil. Many of our customers
still like to heat their homes, buildings, and water with it. We do, however,
know that these options come with their own specific risks.
. When we install a Geothermal system, or an Air to Air heat pump, often
times our customers choose to replace all gas burning appliances in
their homes. In addition to the safety gained by not having gas they also
save the monthly customer or meter charge and they often get a reduced
rate from their electric utility.
. With no gas burning appliances the risk of CARBON MONOXIDE
POISONING from flue gas being misdirected is greatly reduced. With no gas
in any appliances or piping systems there is much less risk of anyone being
hurt or killed by RAW GAS POISONING. With no open flames in any
appliances the risk of FIRE is reduced.
. We believe that your family will be safer with a Heat pump than with Gas
Heat.
