.   Because your home or building do not need the same amount of heating or cooling
every hour of every day, we utilize several different technologies to adjust accordingly.  
One purpose is to help match the system's output to your need to allow for less starting
and stopping, and a more consistent output, thus giving you better comfort.  Another
purpose is to gain energy efficiency.  Just like your car has less power but gets better
gas mileage in overdrive, our systems use less energy and operate at much higher
COPs, AFUEs, and SEERs when they are in low stage or low speed.
.                                             . TWO STAGE .
.   Several of the High Efficient Air Conditioners we use have either 2 speed
compressors, or mechanical internal unloading devices.  Some of the High Efficient
Furnaces we use utilize 2 stage gas valves to give them giving them 2 options of output
heating capacity.
.   Most 2 stage or 2 speed systems operate between 50% and 66% capacity in low
stage.  Most operate at as much as a 25% increase in energy efficiency in low.

.                                     . VARIABLE SPEED.

.   Variable speed technology is rapidly gaining momentum in our trade, as energy costs
continue to rise and the cost of electronic components continue to fall.  Some of our best
Furnaces and best Air Conditioners use DC motors that are fed by AC inverters that are
controlled by logic boards with very complex algorithms that are designed to perfectly
match the output of your system to the needs you have at any given moment.  This, like 2
stage, saves energy.   This technology is used widely in our INDOOR DC FANs.
